What Is the Western Rite?
The Western Rite is the authentic expression of Orthodox Christianity using the historic liturgical traditions of the Christian West, fully united to the faith, doctrine, and sacramental life of the Orthodox Church.
It preserves ancient Western liturgies—purified and restored in harmony with Orthodox theology—while remaining completely Orthodox in belief.
